Bridging Old And New

When John North founded Northfield, the native New Yorker had a quiet, New England-style mill town planned. The rise of agriculture, a few lively bank robberies, a thriving academic and arts community, and the winding forces of nature itself created a uniquely vibrant city - old and new, industry and agriculture, urban and pastoral, raw and refined.

The Crossing's design team worked in concert with public officials, business leaders, and local citizens to articulate an innovative vision for the revitalization of this landmark riverfront setting. Located at the north end of historic downtown, The Crossing takes inspiration from the tradition, design, and character of the community, while adding a new layer of history to Northfield.

The Edgewater offers a rare opportunity for ownership in one of Northfield's premier locations, steps from the Cannon River and a short walk to shopping, dining and main street businesses.
